Firm Overview

Holland King has been in the tax controversy world for more than 15 years, advising and defending clients on state and federal tax issues. Holland holds a BS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Taxation, and a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University and is a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia. He has published articles on taxation and law in the Journal of Multistate Taxation and Georgia State Law Review. He is located in Cherokee County, GA.

Holland is admitted to practice in Georgia as a member of the Georgia Bar and is a member of the United States Tax Court Court Bar and accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is an active member of the Georgia Tech Bar Association and the Georgia Bar Taxation Section. In addition to this firm, Holland works with other firms focusing on different issues related to their business.

With a focus on the North Georgia region, Holland assists clients in Cherokee and surrounding counties with legal representation. Holland opened the firm in 2020 during the pandemic to provide a safe and effective legal solution remotely. To safely represent taxpayers, the firm operates virtually. All meetings will be conducted electronically, either via telephone or video conferencing. Additionally, all documents will be electronically signed and delivered to the greatest extent possible for your safety and convenience.

Holland was born and raised in Loganville, Georgia, and now lives in Ball Ground. He enjoys running and hiking with his dog Sam (who occasionally makes guest appearances on the blog and Zoom calls), exploring local restaurants, and lamenting Georgia Tech’s football team.
